Inventhub, the collaborative hardware design tool startup, raised an undisclosed amount in a pre-seed round from Fatima Gobi Ventures, Venture.d, Deosai Ventures, Arbisoft, ConradLabs, Walled City Co, Draper University Ventures, Redis Labs, and UBS Hong Kong.

Elevator Pitch: Like Github, but for hardware.

Tell me more: Imagine you want to build a hardware product.

Where do you begin?

In contrast to other industries, the electronic industry is isolated, and the design process is not streamlined.

It takes a long time to buy the pieces, make them, assemble them, and distribute them.

This is where Inventhub comes in.

It provides hardware developers and inventors with a game-changing platform to create products.

Users upload their electronics design files from various sources to the cloud. They then invite stakeholders to collaborate and exchange data.

This allows all involved parties to collaborate on the platform, including designers, engineers, manufacturers, procurement, suppliers, and distributors.

The result is hardware inventors being able to bring their products to market in a streamlined, collaborative, and optimal way by shedding excess processes and procedures.

You should know: Inventhub was founded in 2018 by Usama Abid and Usman Maqsood. It previously raised an undisclosed amount of funding from angel investor Tim Draper.

Before you go: Inventhub plans to use the fresh funding to boost its marketing efforts and improve its platform by collaborating with B2B customers.
