Spotify, the world’s leading music streaming service, launched in Pakistan earlier this year. On December 1, it released its Wrapped campaign.

Tell me more: Spotify Wrapped gives users a detailed report of their top songs from the last year, including most played songs, favorite genres, and other stats.

This year’s Wrapped experience includes several new features, including 2021: The Movie, Your Audio Aura, Playing Cards, and 2021 Wrapped: Blend.

The top artists on Spotify’s Wrapped Lists in Pakistan were:

  • Arijit Singh
  • Atif Aslam

The most popular songs by Atif Aslam on Spotify this year were Kadi Te Has Bol, Rafta Rafta, Tu Jaane Na, and Dil Diyan Gallan.

Several upcoming artists from Pakistan’s indie and pop scene made it to the Top 20 of most-streamed tracks in Pakistan, including Hassan Raheem, Young Stunners, and Asim Azhar.

The most streamed Pakistani song was Ghalat Fehmi by Asim Azhar, followed by Gumaan by Young Stunners and Afsanay.

Other household names from the music industry have also remained on the charts.

Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s Kali Kali Zulfon Ke Phande Na Dalo, Aitebaar by Vital Signs, and Atif Aslam have topped the most-streamed songs in the last decades in Pakistan.
