In partnership with Easypaisa, Uber will introduce digital payments for its riders and partners. They are calling it Uber Cash.
Tell me more: With Uber Cash, riders and drivers can easily pay for rides and platform fees by adding money to their Uber Cash balance. Using the Easypaisa app, riders will be able to top-up their balance without exchanging cash.
Why it matters: Uber can now reach almost 10 million Easypaisa app users with this partnership.
So, how does it work?
- Go to the Wallet in the app and tap on add funds for Uber Cash.
- Select the preferred payment method and the amount for topping up.
- Change the payment method to Uber Cash while requesting a ride.
